Job Description
As an Applications Engineering Intern at Google, you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and supporting Google’s internal business applications. You will work on a variety of projects, including:
- Building internal solutions with custom front-ends (web, mobile) and back-end services that automate business processes.
- Helping partners with their day-to-day challenges by working on solution-oriented tasks and also helping them in fixing their problems
- Working on preparing technical solutions based on the requirements
- Integrating third-party products into internal systems as well as supporting and upgrading implemented systems.
- Partnering with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
Minimum Qualification
- The candidate should be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- The candidate should have experience in the latest software technologies and one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Communication skill is a must.
Preferred Qualification
- The candidate should be available to work full-time for 12-14 weeks during the summer of 2024.
- The candidate should have experience programming in Java, C++, and/or Python.
- The candidate should have experience in systems software or algorithms as well as in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), and JavaScript.
