I am seeing people acquiring Data Science roles in big firms at quite a good package. The companies are hiring Data Scientists in the count of hundreds. It is quite understandable that the field is in need and companies require a lot of skilled people for the same.
But I wanted to understand the future growth of the field. Is Data Science just a fad or a real growth oriented skill. Should someone invest time at this moment to acquire the skill or it would be better to choose any other demanding skill.
Also, it would be great if someone can share some insights on how long will it continue to grow in the future as companies can&#8217;t just keep on adding work forces in the same count as they are doing now.
